Know the Uncommon Achievement of a Child Infected With HIV

Babu lost his parents to AIDS when he was 6, but never succumbed to his fate of Illness. Now he is 15-year- old pursuing his dream under the guidance of Camillians at Snehagram- a vocational training centre exclusively for HIV infected adolescents. He was the only HIV athlete who participated in the Laguna Phuket International Marathon in Thailand held on June 4, 2016. Like Babu, 50 HIV infected children in Snehagram are dreaming of achieving their dream. At an age when they were supposed to be taken care of, these children saw their parents breathing their last. Children resumed to dream of a better future since the time they stepped into Sneha Care Home where all these children completed their fostering years before the adolescence care in Snehagram. The past few years our children have been participating in other national and international sports events. Heartfelt thanks to our volunteer Mr. Elvis Joseph for exploring the possibilities to make our children shine on.

Congrats Babu Senappa on your achievement. You made everyone at Sneha Charitable trust so proud and truly stand out of your crowd with your hard work, enthusiasm and dedication. Once again many congratulations to you! .Hope you witness many more achievements like this. I take this opportunity to appreciate the effort of Mathew Perumpil, Director of Snehagram and team for grooming him to succeed the way he wished.
